What inspired the creation of TV-Messenger

The idea for TV-Messenger first came about while caring for a family member with Alzheimer's. This person lived on their own away from other family members who could be there to watch over them. So taking medication was always forgotten. Getting ready for doctor appointments were forgotten, even if they were told early that morning to be ready by the afternoon. They continually asked the same questions several time a day.

But, they spent all day, day after day, watching TV or having it on in the background. The family realized the best way to stay in touch through the day was to use her TV to send her messages, reminder her of things that need to be done, and to provide them with information they need.

What can TV-Messenger do

> display a message along a ticker on any TV
> display information on the ticker line

   > Play a game, fill out a form, etc.
> Get answers from its built in AI

It works with both Cable TV as well as any streaming service.

User can call the TV-Messenger telephone number or text the number to remove ticker information from their TV or to set up various features and functions of the service. The service may also call you when there is a unconfirmed escalated message pending. Those calls will come from this number.

The Message Ticker

This is a line that appears on the bottom of your live TV programs. It does not disrupt the program you are watching but just places that TV program just above this ticker line. You can continue to watch TV while viewing the ticker message. A remote care giver could enter a message from this website, that appears on a loved ones TV to remind them of things they need to do or appointments they have coming up. The message can be marked for "escalation". The service will make the message more noticeable over time going as far as eliminating Live TV from the screen and demanding they respond.  The TV viewer must respond. They can respond via a telephone call to TV-Messenger, using the TV-M app, texting a message, or by using a keyboard or push button plugged into the M-brAIn. If they do not respond, the service can call them on the phone and ask them to reply. The voice they hear is the TV-M official voice (male or female selectable) or can be in the caregivers own voice. If they still have not responded to an escalated message, the caregiver can be alerted by text, Email, or via a telephone call from the service.

The information ticker

But the service is not only for remote care givers, it is also for the family to use on their own TV. The ticker can be set up to display weather information for a few hours each morning, or stock portfolio or sports scores each evening. More information types are continually being introduced to the service. Ticker messages can be removed from the TV via a telephone call, text message, a keyboard plugged into the M-brAIn, using the TV-M mobile app, or using this website.

The Web Browser and M-brAIn

The service also allow for the display of any Web site on the TV and to interact with it. To provide all its services the TV is plugged into an M-brAIn device which is the brains that operate the TV-Messenger. A wired or wireless mouse and keyboard can be plugged in the brain to enable interaction with what is on the TV. Through the use of a telephone call, you may also ask the M-brAIn a question and the built in AI will display the answer on the TV.
