The M-brAIn Device

Setting up the TV Messenger Hardware

The brain that operates the TV Messenger service is a small computer device known as the M-brAIn. This AI device grabs information from the Internet, merges it with Live or Streaming TV video and audio, along with adding its own information to TV screen such as a moving ticker display or other special effects. These are the instructions on how to wire together the various components that come with the device and service.

Using multiple HDMI ports?

The M-brAIn connects to a single source of video content. If the TV that is being used is connected to multiple devices such as a cable box, a Roku type device on another HDMI channel, and a DVR on yet another HDMI channel, you want to make sure that messages will still appear on the TV regardless of which device is your current entertainment source.

Using a HMDI switch, like the image to the left, y all your devices can  share a single HDMI connection to your TV. Instead of changing from one HDMI channel to another on your TV, you can use the remote, shown in the image, to select which device should use the SINGLE HMDI channel on your TV. In this configuration, the HDMI cable coming out of this switch is connected to the M-brAIn which in turn connects to your TV. No matter which device is providing the TV programming, TV Messenger will be able to get the message through to the viewer.
